Self Defense and Circuit Training

Our self-defense and circuit training program is a fusion of MMA and HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training). While we borrow and utilize several striking techniques from Muay Thai, Kickboxing, and Boxing, you are not required to spar (fight) in this class, and will still experience the benefits of a cage fighter workout.

This program is not for the faint of heart and requires a high level of self-motivation. However, determined individuals, even non-fighters, can benefit from this program by improving their muscular and cardiovascular systems, burning fat, and gaining strength.

If you have diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or heart disease, HIIT is a great way to boost your health and lose weight. 

You may not be able to do HIIT if you have muscle or joint problems, like arthritis; ask your doctor first before attempting this class.

If you have a heart condition, you should check with your doctor first, and start HIIT slowly for a short period of time.
